DV Lottery 2024 Announcement: Important Updates for Pakistani Applicants
The Diversity Visa （DV） Lottery 2024 program has been officially announced by the U.S. Department of State. This program provides a unique opportunity for individuals from eligible countries, including Pakistan, to apply for permanent residency in the United States.The application period for DV-2024 will open on October 5, 2022, and close on November 8, 2022. All applications must be submitted electronically through the official DV program website during this period. Paper applications are not accepted.
Pakistani applicants should ensure they meet the education or work experience requirements. Applicants must have at least a high school education or its equivalent, or two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience.
It is crucial to submit only one entry per person. Multiple entries will disqualify all applications from that individual. Applicants should keep their confirmation number safe as it is required to check entry status.
The selection process is random and computer-generated. Selected applicants will be notified through the Entrant Status Check available on the official DV program website starting May 6, 2023. No notifications will be sent by email or regular mail.
