The Buddh International Circuit is India\“s premier Formula 1 racing facility located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This world-class track was designed by German architect Hermann Tilke and hosted the Indian Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013.
Local Indian automotive companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra have used this facility for testing and development of their performance vehicles. The track features 16 turns spread over 5.14 kilometers, with a capacity to accommodate over 100,000 spectators.
Indian racing teams and drivers have benefited from having this international-standard facility in the country, helping to develop motorsport talent locally. The circuit continues to host various national and international racing events, promoting automotive sports culture in India. |
